ah, how ironic, the topics in a young woman's life!  oh the cliché~ weirdly enough the thing i now feel like writing about is... men. ( >  A  < ;)y ... and yet at the same time ... im so fed up with that topic. but, for once, i will do all y'alls a favour and shut up on that and make this post public.

L a d i e s & G e n t s ... I'M HERE!!  
hohohohoho♪ surprisingly enough my absence from livejournal didn't last so long after all! not that i'd have any more time to post now but i just happened to bump into a pre-made layout that i could moderate to my liking. i made a quick header that doesnt really go with the rest of the thing but point is:
the layout WORKS and looks good enough for me to not hurt to post~

PLUS since the layout works now ill be posting with a normal, non extra-small sized font i think... does that even make a difference on your lj's friends pages? i prefer writing in 'smaller' sooo... let me know if this is better...

but we'll see what ill be writing about from now on. i guess most fashion related things are on hautekeikk.com? besides during my short hiatus i noticed that in a way i missed a 'journal' where i could write about presonal things that, well, interest noone unless youre going through the same minor things etc. but im sure with time ill see wether or not ill want to write about personal life here much or not.

H e y ! P e o p l e e e e e  
alright you guys, ive recently updated my blog (hautekeikk.com) bunches with entries regarding mainly fashion issues. i also added it on 'Blogilista' as [info]sakur told me to hehe. ive even had my first 1000 visitors uuuu~ ( *  3  * ) *proud* anyways, i have a new header that fits the style better i think. you should check it out.

and [info]psyencemachine tell me what you think cause you gave me some really helpful feedback last time. and for everyone else; sorry that the font is still very small ( .____. ) it looks much bigger on IE than firefox (and silly little me uses ie) but ill fix it asap~


atm im about to list some so-to-day affiliate sites / BLOGS with similar themes!!
at least i want to list: jugem by [info]microsheep  and dirtyprettythings by [info]subway_to_venus .
so, now im asking... does anyone else want to be bloggie doggie friends? ( ^______^ )
... hay its better than having a lonely blog with no friends! any similar blogs outside of you guys's lj's?

P r e p a r e Y o u r s e l f  
grrrr. i just wasted this week stressing out cause of the preparations for the trip~ running around on errand and such, and i feel like today's the 1st day for me to lay back!

but i did achieve
some things too:
• finally bought that suitcase *pheww*
• started a new diet with a burner hohoho
• scanned half of egg 03/09 mag @ school
• bought a lock for my purse etc for the trip
• booked hotels/motels for our time in jpn
• ← actually bothered curling my hair (ok?)
• aaaand even went out on fri / last night!

OH WELL. preparing for the trip is all ive done pretty much. & i had a 5day week @ gamestop, so ive only made it to gym twice this week ( @___@; ) *sighhh* in addition to worrying about wether or not ill be in good enough physical shape;

yahhh! let me post some pics:

H a v i n g * A * G o o d O n e  
on moments like the one i had sitting in the bus on my way to school computers today, having my cup of morning coffee from my starbucks coffee tumbler with the orange sun of this winter morning just rising and blinding in my eyes reflecting from the frozen sea and the trees covered with white glitter powder...
for once, i was happy to be in finland during this freaking cold (-15c's nuff) & endless winter.

you know, i will always have a longing for something outside of this town  but. (tho i love helsinki.)
now that ive been stressing about my soon-to-come trip to more than one asian metropolis,
ive been trying to look at things here from the perspective of a typical finn.
someone who would never want to leave his/her home country for anything.
(tho i hardly ever feel like a finn, get asked where im from & hang out with the 'immigrants' hohoho)

see like ive said before.
i wont ever want to leave this place feeling like ive got nothing to come back to. you know... neither bangkok, tokyo nor seoul can save me from this place. ive got to learn to enjoy my life here. at least for until i go study overseas or such. and thats exactly what ive been working on since i got back from the US in -06.
and hey... i think ive even been making some progress~

theres so many of us desperately wanting to just get out of here  ---
but what happens when you have to return to this place if youre not alright with it when you leave?
anyone know what im talking about..?

P e r f e c t i o n * F o u n d  
there are those people that say 'one can never have too many video games' ... and i know this, because i work at a game store. but then there are also those that say 'one can never have too many ...
books / jeans / meals / men / cars / houses / w/e '
to include myself in this, id most likely fall in the:
'one can never have too many shoes 'category.
... or nail polishes, collared shirts or makeup, or...
hohoho. oh yes.
or hot males around. never happens, does it now?

now now, dont be hasty my friends!
... its not like ive been shopping my ass off. unlike before, every buy hurts. every time i have to swing that master card makes me squint my eyes. still, i went and bought one more pair of ugg ripoffs, because 2 boots of that kind werent enough. AND since my mom suggested that i bought a new bag for carrying gym stuff etc, i did. and then i got some long-thought-over little things. however; it didnt 'cost' me that much since most was on gift cards id saved up etc!

and believe you me... unlike you might think  im making wiser shopping decicions by the day - since every tiny little thing im about to buy reminds me of my #1 goal atm:  MAKING MY TRAVEL PLANS WORK!  and thered be no going anywhere if i was spending money like i sometimes have!  the materialist in me has grown smaller, as unbelievable as it is.

but to prove all this false; ( RECENT FINDS & TREASURES UNDER HERE! ) take a look !

A R e a s o n * F o r L i v i n g  
i present to you;
a 1000+ poor quality pics of this new hair of mine!
since im sure yalls were dying to see it nooooot.
(& since some of you were actually asking for pics~)
oh and, sorry it took me so long to get this posted!

at first i was having a hard time getting used to shorter/mid legth hair; even tho my hair was down to my arm pits in the back before we cut it, we had to chop soooo much off since it was all dead & full of split-ends!
but you know, im quite used to this style by now,
however  i still havent learnt to style it properly!
so youll see that most of the pictures under the following lj-cut will feature this hairstyle just plain straightened and maybe teased up in the back a bit.

so! anyone have any good scans/links for me,
to help me style short hair?!
see for example curling this head is a whole another story than curling the long hair that i was so used to! ... hohoho maybe it was about time for a little change after all! ( ~___~ ) right now, im sitting here with rolls in my hair- we'll see how it turns out!
